I worked on the Star Wars tutorial. I had finished the tutorial in 45 minutes. Although it was intended for someone with less skill, it was still interesting. A beginner can learn basic code through blocks then learn how to convert that into written code. Tools similar to this include Scratch and Tynker. I would recommend this to complete beginners, as all the skills covered in this tutorial would not be new to older students.
